Bluebird's garden hose splitters are manufactured at our Ningbo facility to expand a single tap or hose outlet into two or four independently controlled watering zones. Unlike simple Y-connectors, each branch on our splitters is fitted with its own quarter-turn ball valve and an ergonomic lever handle — allowing the user to run a sprinkler on one line while shutting off the other, adjust flow balance between zones, or leave hoses permanently connected without needing to remove and reattach fittings between tasks.

Our splitter range covers both plastic and metal construction to serve different market tiers. Plastic 2-way and 4-way splitters are molded from glass-fiber-reinforced PP with brass-threaded tap inlets to prevent thread stripping during repeated mounting and removal. Each valve lever is color-coded and over-sized for easy operation with wet or gloved hands, with positive-stop positions that provide clear tactile feedback when fully open or closed.

Metal 2-way splitters feature a zinc alloy body with electroplated chrome finish and precision-machined brass ball valves. These models are rated for higher inlet pressure and are the preferred choice for commercial landscaping, multi-zone drip irrigation systems, and installations where the splitter remains permanently mounted at the tap. The chrome finish resists surface corrosion and maintains a clean appearance after extended outdoor exposure.

All splitters connect to standard 3/4" garden hose taps and outlets, with O-ring seals at every connection point to prevent dripping at the tap, at the valve stems, and at the hose connections. Shut-off valve accessories — available as inline models and tap-mounted variants — provide additional flow control options for single-line installations.
