Bluebird Garden Water Wands — Extended-Reach Spray Wands for Hanging Baskets, Shrubs & Ground-Level Watering

Bluebird's garden water wands are manufactured at our Ningbo facility to solve the reach problem that standard hand nozzles cannot address. With an extended aluminum or plastic shaft ranging from 43 cm to 80 cm, each wand places the spray head at arm's-length-plus distance from the grip handle — enabling comfortable watering of hanging baskets, elevated planters, tall shrubs, deep flower beds, and ground-level containers without stooping, stretching, or using a step ladder.

Unlike a standard pistol-grip nozzle — where the spray head sits inches from the hand — a water wand separates the control point from the delivery point. The trigger or thumb-control valve sits in the palm at the base of the shaft, while the multi-pattern spray head operates at the far end. This ergonomic separation provides two immediate benefits: the user's hand and sleeve stay dry because the spray originates well forward of the grip, and the extended shaft allows precise aim into tight spaces — between foliage, under canopies, and at the soil line — that a hand-held nozzle held close to the body cannot reach.

Our wand range covers the most common configurations for retail distribution. 8-pattern and 10-pattern spray heads provide selectable spray modes from fine mist to jet stream, operated via a thumb-control dial at the spray head or a trigger valve at the handle. Aluminum shaft models at 80 cm offer the lightest weight and best corrosion resistance for premium positioning, while plastic shaft models at 43 cm serve the entry-level and mid-range price points. All models feature a standard quick-connect hose inlet, a soft-grip TPR handle section, and a hang-hole in the handle for retail pegboard display.

The internal water tube runs the full length of the shaft, protected from UV exposure and physical damage — unlike exposed-tube designs where a PVC hose drapes externally along the pole.

Key advantages for wholesale buyers:

  • Higher unit value and margin compared to standard hand nozzles — a wand is a multi-component assembly with shaft, spray head, valve, and tube
  • Two shaft lengths (43 cm and 80 cm) and two pattern counts (8 and 10) to cover entry, mid, and premium retail price tiers from one supplier
  • Aluminum and plastic shaft options for material-tier differentiation within the same product category
  • Soft-grip TPR handle and pegboard hang-hole standard on all models — retail-floor ready
  • Mixed-container consolidation with Bluebird nozzles, sprinklers, connectors, and hose reels
